The sounds of beam rifles firing, sabers clashing, and thrusters blazing fill the air. Thousands of fans in filled out seats cheer on their favorite contestants as they go through the ranks for glory, the recognition, or simply to prove that their models are the strongest in the world. This is war without the bloodshed that comes with it. This is a game taken so seriously, it wraps right back around to being fun.
This is the world of Gunpla Battle. And you've found yourself becoming one such player.
Prompts:
1) It's battle time! You've come face to face with your opponent, standing across the Gunpla Battle machine between you. It might be a tournament matchup from a championship that's past. Or perhaps, it's one that took place in one of the championships after the seventh. It could even be a simple sparring match. Either way, are you ready to put your best foot forward? And will you figure out your enemy's weakness before they find yours?
2) Brainstorming, building, modifying. There's more to Gunpla Battle than simply fighting it out! You might be a builder, a fighter having a builder do the work for them, or even both, like the champion of the 7th GBC. No matter the circumstance, you're looking to make a winning model that will see you through to the end of many battles to come.
3) Keeping tabs on the competition. So you've got some footage from a recent exhibition matchup that took place, involving a rival machine that could be the biggest threat to your progress. Perhaps you've even got a friend with you to talk things out, though you'll have to give them the details if they're Gundam-blind. What will you pick up from their struggles, and how will you plan for the inevitable battle ahead?
4) IT'S A ROMANTIC COMEDY!? Just because you're a Gunpla Battler doesn't mean you have to focus entirely on the sport. You might have sparked one hell of a relationship through Gunpla Battle; it brings people together in its own strange way. Just ask the red-headed idiots.
5) Oh, good god, the nerdery. Looks like you've been sucked into quite the discussion about which Gundam was the best, which mecha they enjoy most, or even one about favorite characters. Hope you don't accidentally start a verbal war with a stray word or something.
6) Man, your plamodel's pretty trashed... Thankfully, you've got someone helping you out! With any luck, they just might be a Gunpla expert, or at the very least, a really good designer...
7) HOLY SHIT ALL THIS GUNPLA. Looks like you've entered a Gunpla store with some of the finest craftswork on display -- or, even better, you've come across the Gunpla Paradise that is G-Muse. Come take a box, build it, and try it out! See if you come across something you enjoy. You might pick up a few ideas along the way.
8) Make up your own, if you want to! The sky's the limit.
