Either way, the next several minutes are nothing but the sounds of footsteps wandering around downstairs, almost as if they were casing the house... the footsteps soon continue into the upstairs area and outside the room, though tellingly, they don't actually go straight into Kirito's room - rather, it sounds more like they're wandering around upstairs again...

Definitely suspicious.

Eventually, the door opens up; slowly at first, and then in a wide arc as... someone who is definitely NOT Kirito enters the room, a particularly large grin on their face as they look around and walk right in. ]
